Xavi's job has been highly questioned in the recent weeks as Barcelona sit eight points below their surprise leaders Girona. But this been under looked as they have no arrangements to part ways with the manager as they assure him to stay until the rest of the season.
In a post-match press conference, he credited Barca to improve even though the poor performance this season,
"We play with boys, we are in construction, we have a very short squad. It is the beginning of something important, whether I am coaching or not. There is a future."
Barcelona's next match is against Villarreal this Saturday though they lost to Athletic Billibao yesterday night in COPA DEL REY 4-2
