Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) president and Mpaka records CEO Ykee Benda, has come out to take solidarity with upcoming musician EeZzy.
In a long Facebook post, the "Maradona" hit maker wrote to both government bodies and explained to them how musicians sometimes come up with their music, which is a hectic process altogether and that some words only fit some beats.
This comes after a letter released yesterday which was ordering the UCC to ban EeZzy's Tumbiza sound song from playing on all electronic medium and social media, the Ministry of Health claiming it has misleading information about following Covid-19 SOPs.
"I kindly request MoH and UCC to please forgive EeZzy if he went wrong somewhere while creating this song but please don't put a ban on his song. This young man is trying to make a living." Wrote Ykee Benda.
