Previously Zinedine Zidane let down proposals that he could carry on in the Premier League amid reports he could be offered the chance to take over the Manchester United job.
Reports in France assigned Zidane as the "dream" hire for Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS at Manchester United although he has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in 2021
This is not the first time Zinedine Zidane has been tied with Manchester United, even before Erik Ten Hag was appointed, Zidane was highly considered to move to Old Trafford but this failed to happen.
Eludicating his unwillingness to carry on in the Premier League with L'Equipe in 2022, Zidane highly detailed that he was unable to speak English fluently as a main aspect.
"Never say never," he began. "Especially when you are a coach today.
"If I go back to a club, it is to win. I say this with all modesty. That's why I can't just go anywhere. For other reasons, too.
"Certain conditions make things more difficult. When someone says to me, 'Do you want to go to Manchester [United]?'... I understand English but I don't fully master it. I know there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work differently.
"To win, many elements come into play. It's a global context. I know what I need to win. Of course, I might not always win, but I know that you need to have this, this and this. And I want to do everything on my side to optimise my chances of victory."
More lately, Zidane proposed his would be interested in a move to Serie A, where he spent five years with Juventus before his switch to Real Madrid in 2001.
As for United, Ten Hag has been severely pressured though his contract expires next season at Old Trafford as he feels he is backed by Ratcliffe and INEOS.
Erik Ten Hag was confirmed as Manchester United manager in April 2022, replacing Ralf Rangnick after the conclusion of 2021/2022 Premier League season.
Ten Hag has managed to win eighteen games in all competitions this campaign which include fourteen Premier League wins, two FA Cup wins, one Champions League win and one English League Cup win.
Ten Hag's job at Old Trafford might be at risk though he is still assured of not leaving until the his contract expires until though various candidates have been linked with replacing the Dutchman such as Thomas Tuchel and many others.
