Politician and political analyst Tamale Mirundi has woken up and chosen violence of recent. He came out and made a comment on singer and now president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) Eddy Kenzo, saying he is proud of him for not marrying musician Rema Namakula.
Rema and Eddy Kenzo shared a lovely relationship together. It was a long term relationship that many people never thought would come to an end until Rema suddenly was seen in the arms of another man, Dr. Hamza Ssebunya on her introduction ceremony. Kenzo and Rema however have a daughter together that they had when they were still in a relationship.
Everyone blamed Rema for letting Kenzo down and choosing another man over him but we should all remember Rema always wanted a wedding and all that, things that Kenzo seemed unready to offer her. The singer wasn’t ready to officially marry Rema off hence failing their relationship.
Although Kenzo still looks heartbroken by this break up, Tamale Mirundi maintains that what Kenzo did was the right thing. According to Mirundi, a star never marries. If he had focused on marriage, he wouldn’t be where he is at the moment.
“A star cannot get married and I want to say Eddy Kenzo did the right thing to let Rema go. If she wanted marriage then she was in a relationship with a wrong person. Lucky enough she got someone who is not a star and now she is a wife,” Tamale Mirundi said.
