Derrick Biswanka was a hot topic when he was still under Alien Skin's Fangone Forest Entertainment. He however was alleged to have gotten a few misunderstandings with Alien Skin and he left the crew, starting his solo career.
No one however knew the real reason as to why Biswanka had left Fangone and there was a lot of speculation going on. Biswanka has however come out to give clear reasons as to why he parted ways with Alien Skin.
Biswanka said he left Fangone Forest because he didn't want to lose his identity. He said that after his song Ontunulemu was released, some of the people within Fangone Forest created conditions that made it difficult for him to stay because they felt he was going to outshine Alien Skin, their leader.
"My song caused problems. The song started getting more recognition than any of Alien Skin's songs so many within the crew thought I would easily outshine him," said Biswanka.
He said he realized that people close to Alien Skin wanted to turn him into Alien's lapdog yet he wanted to be fully independent when it comes to his music career. According o him, it got to a point where he was sidelined from Fangone activities, something that made him feel like he was an outcast
