Musician Grenade official has come out to reveal that when he was just starting out in the music industry, there were very many people who never believed in his talent and they actually kept telling him he was not going to make it far in the industry.
According to Grenade, Mc Kats is one of the people who never even once believed in him when he started his music career. MC Kats was one of the first people to hear Grenade Official sing and unfortunately for Grenade, Kats told him to go back to the village and try to put his energy to use by trying agriculture instead of wilting away in music.
According to Grenade, he approached Mc Kats to listen to some of his songs, considering that he is one of the people that have enough experience in discerning good stuff from bad stuff when it comes to the music industry. To his surprise however, instead of encouragement, he walked away with discouragement.
Grenade was further taken aback when Kats gave him 20,000 UGX to use as transport to go back to the village. Grenade however turned down the money as he never wanted to go back but instead, he asked Kats for 2000 UGX to grab a bite.
"I gave MC Kats my music, and he gave me UGX 20K to go back to the village. He never believed I could make it. I refused the 20K and instead begged for 2K because I wanted to get something to eat. I never wanted to go back to the village," he said
