    861 students FAIL law pre-entry!
    • October 21, 2020 • 5 years ago

The saying that "the law is not yowa maza" came true for 861 students, who after sitting for their Makerere University law school pre-entry exams, couldn't make the 50% mark. Out of 1166 students who sat for the exams, only 305 got 50% and above, that's roughly 26% of the total. This means that the 861 are disqualified to apply for the course.

Alive Namale from Mengo S S was the best with 76% followed by Annie Maria Akini with 71%."                                                          Those with 50% and above have passed the examination and are recommended by the pre-entry and mature committee" said Mr. Alfred Masikye, the academic registrar. He farther went on to say that those who're not satisfied with the results should appeal within two weeks time.

So, if you have a sibling/friend who sat for the exams, you "berra" check on them.
