NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has again showed his big heart by gifting the homeless with food and relief.
Bobi Wine on the night of 01st January this year, accompanied with NUP's Secretary General, David Lewis Rubongoya and his elder brother, Chairman Nyanzi Sentamu supplied food items to the homeless in Kampala.
Bobi Wine highlited the plight of the homeless and reminded the Ugandan authorities to always look out for the underprivileged people in societies.
"Last night, we visited the streets of Kampala to share some food with our people who are homeless. Only those who have slept hungry for lack of food or slept on the street before would understand the pain which these people go through every day. We thought it was important to share with them the first supper of the new year and give them words of encouragement. It is also important to raise their plight, because they end up on the streets for different reasons. Such people must be thought about as we plan and strive to build a nation where all citizens live in dignity." he wrote on his Facebook on Tuesday morning.
His fans and followers have applauded the NUP President for the gesture and love.
