Everyone is geared up for the Blu*3 reunion concert that is happening at the Sheraton Gardens Kampala.
Being women, the Blu*3 divas decided to reach a hand to ladies right before their concert. In their bid to be of help to women in society, they chose to pay a visit to young mothers with a few helpful items to show them support and stand together with them as women.
According to Lilian Mbabazi, it is very crucial for women to make sure fellow women are doing okay and they were glad to share a moment with fellow women and fellow mothers right before the concert.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has helped out in this humble campaign. As ladies, it is entirely our responsibility to make sure every woman out there is doing okay. This is why we are very overjoyed to share this moment with you.” She stated.
Jackie Chandiru, in light of this event stated that she was glad to be of help to young women that really need it because everything that was taken for them, be it the items they carried or the skills they were going to be taught would surely be helpful to them in the near future.
She stated that young mothers should not just sit around and wait for help but rather they should learn skills to enable them live a worry free life as they would be able to take care of themselves and their infants if they had skills to rely on.
“ We are very glad to be here today. We are happy because we know everything that has been carried here today will be very helpful. Be it the skills or the items. We wouldn’t want to see you sitting around, waiting for Heaven to help. Once you have skills, you are assured of a bright future.” She stated
When it came to Cindy sanyu, she was quick to advise young women out there not to fall for men's whims and get pregnant when they are still young. Cindy stated that young mothers should not think they are getting help from people as a way of encouraging young girls to get unwanted pregnancies.
She was quick to state that as women, they need to do a lot of self reflection and change so as not to be deceived into early sex and early pregnancy.
“Fellow women. We do not render help to young mothers to encourage young women to get pregnant early. We are just here to right what went wrong. We need you to have a little self reflection and change. Do not get caught up in the web of early and unwanted pregnancies. There is a reason why its women that God gave the ability to reproduce and not men.” Cindy said.
