Singer Cindy Sanyu has finally responded to all the musicians and fans that have come out recently to put her down following her music battle with fellow musician Sheebah Karungi. It started with Nwagi calling her disrespectful because she always ranks herself above other musicians.
Recent developments have displayed how Cindy Sanyu is ready for the musical battle between her and fellow artist Sheebah Karungi, and she seems to be brimming with confidence and refuses to be painted as the villain because she won't hide her confidence and self love for another person’s convenience.
Cindy came out and stated that she will not put herself down all in the name of uplifting another musician. She referred to what she does as self love and self belief. According to Cindy, she is her first and biggest fan and no one can make her stop putting herself above everyone else. Talk about self love!
Cindy also mentioned that she will not dim her light just to make another's shine brighter. According to her, people love sleeping giants because then they can ignore their greatness. She mentioned that haters want to see those they despise acting like sleeping dogs with no action but when they wake up they turn into the bad guys.
Cindy Sanyu has expressed amusement at the way some people treat those who they know are greater than them. In her experience, there are those who would prefer it if she didn't blow her own trumpet despite knowing she is only being honest with her self and showing herself a little self love.
"People be knowing how great you're but are so offended if you talk about it. They would prefer that I shut up about my achievements so that theirs looks like a lot. May God have mercy on us," she said.
