It is quite clear that Bobi Wine is a people’s beloved, so much that when one says any negative comment about him( even when it may have truth to it), they will receive various criticisms and some times, they will have abuses hurled at them unceasingly. This is exactly what has happened to Musician David Lutalo.
Over the weekend while in Mbarara, David Lutaalo delivered a message against politics, saying that he is not into politics because sadly, in this Country the politics of this state is full of hate and cases of tribalism.
Whereas this seemed like an innocent statement, many NUP diehards perceived this as a direct critique towards their ghetto principle Bobi Wine, who has recently faced accusations of tribalism, an accusation that has been thrown at him coming from government politicians.
Lutaalo has therefore come out to clear the air after receiving various insults online on all social media platforms. He has clarified that he really has no issues with the Opposition in Uganda, much less with Bobi Wine. He also explained that he cannot criticize Bobi Wine, as they are both musicians and they share the same goals for the industry.
"I was performing a song I produced over ten years ago. So I want all of you to know that I don't have a problem with Opposition people in the country. In fact, I think we preach the same message of unity," he said
