A man claiming to have fathered singer Rema Namakula into the music industry has come out to lament how the singer abandoned him as soon as she tasted fame.
Paul Saka, who is in his early fifties claims that he helped Rema Namakula secure a bursary at a good school while she was little
He explains that he used to encourage her to sing and even assured her that she will shake the whole world with her music, something which she is doing now.
Saka adds that Rema's claims that Bebe Cool is her musical father are trash but was not surprised since people tend to forget those that helped them when they become successful.
Saka added that he was bitter at the fact that it's hard to access her since she has bouncers all around her that make it hard.
"I helped her, I got her a good school St. Balikudembe SS Kisoga and it was Halima Namakula who requested me because they had no money and fortunately she got a full bursary at the school because of her talent.
So I know her career since her childhood but as you know the bigger the artists grow, the easier they forget those who have been there for them.
She’s always surrounded by bouncers who don’t allow me to access her and hadn’t it been me, maybe she wouldn’t be as big as she is right now.
Am the one who took her to Bebe cool and that’s when the whole world started knowing her and Bebe Cool isn’t her father in music as she claims.
I have all her songs when she was still young and I used to tell her that ‘when you start singing, you will shake the whole world’ and that’s exactly what she’s doing right now,” he said, during an interview recently.
By press time, Rema had not responded to these claims and is expected to deliver her first born child with Hamza Ssebunya anytime soon.
