Last year in the month of October to be precise, there was a fierce battle between two popular people in Uganda that is Mr Edrisa Musuuna a.k.a Eddy Kenzo and Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata (Now Late).
It all started when Eddy's former partner, Rema Namakula was introducing her man to relatives and also to the world in a pre-wedding ceremony that the Sheikh attended.
While at the ceremony, Muzaata bashed Rema's former man (Eddy Kenzo) without hiding it or without any shame. Using ordinary words, the prominent Muslim leader accused Kenzo of not being able to realise that Rema was a woman with needs and not his mother.
Muzaata further added that if Kenzo wanted a woman so perfect like his mother then he should go and marry his mum.

But what really offended Edrisa Musuuza?
Given the fact that his mum had actually died when he was young, it meant that Muzaata was directly telling him to go and marry his late mother instead of wasting Rema's precious time.
The thought of marrying his mother disturbed the Sitya Loss hit maker for days and that is when he came out on social media to protest the arrogant statements from the Sheikh.
Crying in a social media live video, Eddy Kenzo called upon the government in a famous phrase, "Government Weyayu" that went viral on the Ugandan online scene.

Nuhu Muzaata's response After some few hours, the Sheikh was notified about Kenzo's rants towards him and he was asked to comment about the matter.
Instead of coming out to apologise like Eddy Kenzo had demanded, he instead added fire to the pan and called Eddy Kenzo a gay man that wears a lot of ear pins.

Kenzo got to know what Muzaata said about his sexual orientation of being gay which he is not and got more furious and sad. Remember all this was happening in a middle of a heartbreak with Rema Namakula (his ex-wife) in the centre.
This is when the musician ousted the video of his song titled "Semyekozo" that was already doing well on the airwaves. The video increased the song's further play on all local radio stations and TV stations and it became the anthem of 2019.
The "Semyekozo" hit song made Kenzo temporarily forget his sadness as he was booked everywhere on Ugandan shows in the months of November and December and that is how his beef with Muzaata was swept under the carpet.
(Muzaata 2 - Kenzo 1) Kenzo scores 1 because of turning an ugly Muzaata-Rema situation into a hit song.
Just over a month ago, Eddy Kenzo while at a function in Masaka reconciled with Sheikh Muzaata with whom he exchanged pleasantries all of which happened before he died on Friday last week.
On this note (Muzaata 3 - Kenzo 1) because the Sheikh still didn't apologise ???? its Kenzo who came looking for him to Apoligize. What a legend, May His Soul Rest in Peace!
