Today was the climax of group A of Fufa Women Elite League with two games played at the same time.
Kings Of Kings were playing Dynamic Jjezza at Rays of Grace stadium as Asubo Gafford played Luweero Giants Queens at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.
One team in this group made it to quarter finals in the second game, that's Kings Of Kings after winning two opening games leaving a question for other three teams of who to grab the second position.
Aisha Nalweeyiso scored for Luweero Giants Queens in 25th minutes to put Asubo Gafford in trouble and gave her side hope of making it to the quarter finals.
In the other game of Kings Of Kings and Dynamic Jjezza, Bint Ibrahim Faiza scored for Dynamic in the 35th minutes to also get hope of making it to quarter finals but sinking Gafford hopes of Staying in the league.
In the 58th minutes, Daphine Nalubowa doubled the lead for Dynamic Jjezza from the spot.
As the game was growing, in the 76th minutes, on fire Sharon Kanyiginya pulled one back for Kings Of Kings.
In Gafford game, in the dieing minutes, Sheebah Zalwango equalized and Captain Shakirah Mutiibwa was sent off.
The group A games ended as Asubo Gafford was relagated to Regional league having collected two points in three games. Luweero Giants Queens finished third after drawing with Gafford and Kings Of Kings and Dynamic Jjezza progressed to the quarter finals of Fufa Women Elite League.
The group B of Fufa Women Elite League will undergo covid-19 tests on Thursday 13th May 2021 at 8am at Fufa house, Mengo then they will travel to Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Friday 14th May 2021.
