Mary Flavia Namulindwa left her job at Vision Group and flew off overseas for greener pastures. Many people have since wondered what kind of job made her ditch her well paying job to go abroad. Well, she has spoken out on her source of income, leaving many in shock.

Flavia Namulindwa shared this while talking to Kaiyz Kawalya whom she hosted on her YouTube channel called  Diaspora Connect Uganda. According to Namulindwa, her first job in the States when she had just arrived was involved cleaning old people's bums.

While explaining, she said she was excited about her first pay cheque which indicated "$840" which is estimated to be over Shs3 million Shillings

Flavia stated that this was earned in just two weeks of work and she would work for a few hours. In all honesty, very many people don’t even earn half this amount while they work close to 10 hours per day In Uganda!

It should be remembered that Before leaving for the States, she was working as a presenter at Bukedde TV. She however stayed true to her first statement as she said that she willingly left the station, but some of her friends kept saying that she was forced to leave because of her links to the National Unity Platform.

When she left Uganda, she was hosted by the socialite Nalongo Sheilah Don Zella. She then said the job of taking care of old people was so tough that she thought about quitting almost every day but she was encouraged by her friends to be strong and make money slowly.

According to Flavia however, she quit that job a little later after she gave birth to her child.
