Last evening at the BK Arena - Kigali where the 2023 FIBA AfroBasketball women's tournament is ongoing, Uganda's Gazelles put on a spirited display to knockout neighbours Democratic Republic of Congo 78-62.

The game started off on a high for DRC where the Gazelles kept getting unnecessary fouls. The girls however pulled up their stockings in the 3rd quater and started giving the Congolese a run for their money.
