Derrick Chavin, the police officer who killed George Floyd has been found guilty for second degree murder, third degree murder and second degree manslaughter.
The court had a joyous mood after the verdict was delivered.
Chavin however showed no emotion even after his bail request was denied.
He could face up to 75 years in prison.
This has been the most prominent case in the USA after it led to strikes across the country.
After the verdict yesterday, Barack Obama tweeted saying justice was served.
President Joe Biden and vice president Kamala Harris had big smiles and sighs of relief.
"We still have a lot to do." Kamala Harris said.
Chavin killed George last year in June after kneeling on his neck for 9 minutes and 49 seconds.
George died for suffocation.
All witnesses called to the stand said they tried to tell Derrick he was killing George but he refused to listen.
This death was recorded and posted online.
This was evidence that was used in the case and was used to penelaise Derrick.
