    Geosteady converts to Islam

The rate at which artists are taking on the limelight is very high lately and this leaves many artists on the verge of getting forgotten or resort to public nuisances.

Many artists have made a name by joining politics, some of which have gone ahead to win leadership posts like Kiyaga Henry alias Dr. Hilderman, Geoffrey Lutaaya both of which are now members of parliament.

The latest artist about to trend is George Kigozi, commonly known as Geosteady blackman. The "Tokendeza" hit maker is in the news for "not so obvious" reasons as one would put it. The artist earlier today decided to convert to Islam, yes you read that right.

Photos and clips were shared on Geosteady's Facebook page when he was in a mosque and one of the leaders asked him a favorite islamic name he'd want to use. Geosteady chose to be named Hassan and he was then made to take "shahadah" which is a confirmatory statement to Islam.

He was escorted by longtime friend and fellow musician Edirisa Musuuza whom we know as Eddy Kenzo. Ugandans with their never ending propaganda have already started allegations that Geosteady's conversion to Islam could be influenced by a woman he's about to marry.

This is not the first time a Ugandan musician converted to Islam. A couple of years back, leone island boss Joseph Mayanja alias Dr Jose Chameleone converted to Islam, getting the name "Gadafi" but his conversion never lasted a week.

Omulangira Ssuuna too converted to Islam and released a few islamic songs. Kadongo Kamu artist Kazibwe Kkapo too converted and he's still a muslim. Let's hope Hassan doesn't wake up a christian the following day.
