While everyone else was waiting on the decision by musicians on who was supposed to take on leadership of the Uganda Musician’s Association, a few big name musicians had something in store for the artistes. That’s right, a new joint Federation in conjunction with the Government.

Eddy Kenzo did not wait tor UMA to get a new leader but he rather joined hands with Sheebah Karungi and started up the Uganda National Musicians Federation. Not only did he start it up but he managed to convince various musicians into joining the Federation, promising them a new agenda.

He promised them even the impossible and it was so impossible that it appears that many have lost hope in him and his federation. Many artistes have criticized his leadership along with the entire board, claiming that the Federation is not taking them anywhere and it failed before it even kick started operations.

Last week, it was King Saha that came out to give his opinion on the failed Federation and this time around, the person that has come out is none other than Grenade Official, who is a close friend of Kenzo.

Grenade has turned against his friend and expressed his regrets about joining the federation as he says he has gained nothing from being its member since every promise made by the leaders has turned out worthless.

"We were deceived . Kenzo promised us big things in the federation, but now there is nothing to gain. I regret the day I decided to become a member," he said.
