After the news of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania winning the rights to host the African Cup of Nations tournament in 2027 under the PAMOJA AFCON27 umbrella, jubilations cut across the three East African nations, reaching both the ordinary civilians up to the Heads of State.
Reactions from the three heads of state have since started coming in, each of them highlighting what the bid means to not only them as a country but as an entire region. Tanzania's president, H.E Samia Suluhu came out to congratulate Tanzania for the great milestone and immediately instructed the construction of two CAF-Standard stadiums.
"We thank God that we have managed to host the biggest football championship in Africa (AFCON2027), collaborating with Kenya and Uganda, I congratulate all of you who participated to ensure that our country gets this wonderful opportunity.

President Museveni, who's the president of the republic of Uganda, also received the news with great excitment and hinted that not only will the bid be beneficial to the sports fraternity but will also boost economies of the 3 countries especially through the tourism sector.
"I received good news that our joint bid with Kenya and Tanzania to host the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in 2027 was successful. On behalf of the Kenyan President, Vice President H. E Rigathi Gachagua also took to his X account to express the excitement and also congratulate Kenya and the rest of the East African countries for such a great milestone.
