Makindye West MP Hon. Allan Ssewanyana's freedeom seems to be 'far from home,' as he is set to be charged with more charges, as said by police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga.
While giving a media report on crime earlier today, Enanga said that the NUP party member will be accused of treason and inciting violence among people.
Ssewanyana is currently detained at the Special Invwstigations Division (SIU) in Kireka, where he was rushed after being re-arrested few days back while he was leaving Kigo prison. Ssewanyana had been given bail for his charges of masterminding the Masaka deaths alongside fellow NUP member and Kawempe North MP Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya.
Enanga informed the media that by the end of today, the department of investigations will have decided whether Ssewanyana will be taken to court or be released on bail. However as we speak now, we're yet to find out the next proceedings in his case.
