I'm not dead! - Oulanyah speaks out
    • June 29, 2021 • 4 years ago

For the past two weeks, the nation has been fed on unconfirmed rumors of the critical health condition of the newly elected speaker of the 11th parliament and Omoro County Member of Parliament, Hon. Jacob Oulanyah.

Oulanyah had only presided over few parliament sittings and went off scene. Immediate sources began talking about the health of the speaker, many asserting that he had contracted the deadly covid-19.

However, due to public demand as one would call it, the parliament spokesperson Chris Obore came out to clear the air about the health of the speaker. Obore said the speaker was not suffering from covid-19, and that he only left the country to be with his family.

Recently, we got word from the horse's mouth. Speaking to New Vision, Hon Oulanyah said he's not critically ill as rumor has it and that he's just taking a break off duties after a rollercoaster of events he had since campaign times.

He went on to inform Ugandans that he'll soon resume his duties after his holiday gets done. So y'all who've been spreading rumors of the speaker's condition, there you go.
