Current world record holder for both 10'000meters and 5,000meyres, Ugandan athlete Joshua Cheptegei has been nominated in another award for his achievements in the sport last year.
Cheptegei will be competing for the Sportsman of the year 2020 in the Laureus awards. He's going to be competing with some global powerhouses in the sports world, including Moto racing champion Lewis Hamilton (UK), Basketball maestro Lebron James (USA), Tennis legend Rafael Nadal (Spain), Poland and Bayern Munich's goalscoring machine Robert Lewandowski and Swedish athlete James Duplatis.
