Singer Catherine Tumusime, better known as Kapa Cat has publicly revealed that she is still hurt by the fact her mother did not stand with her when got an accident.
It should be recalled that in June 2022, Kapa cat narrowly escaped a fatal road accident sustaining body injuries, bruises and a bloody face.
The rapper and her crew were returning home when the accident happened. In a video that surfaced online, Kapa Cat was seen sitting on a grass patch with one of her travel partners, with her face covered in bloody bruises and she can be heard complaining about pain in her legs.
Later, she took to her socials and asked the public to assist her financially as she was not able to perform to earn money at that time.
The “Kapa Ojimanyi” singer begged well-wisher to help her with funds to enable her foot medical bills as she nursed her injuries.
Apparently, Kapa Cat has come out to reveal that despite the traumatic experience she went through her mother never bothered to visit her in the hospital because she believed her daughter had staged a public stunt to gain sympathy from the public.
While on the path to recovery, Kapa Cat and her manager visited her mother in a wheelchair, even though she (mother) had not been there to support her during her illness.
In a one on exclusive with renowned youtuber and actress Shamim Mayanja, Kapa Cat expressed her disappointment that her mother did not reciprocate the support she had received from her during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kapa Cat further mentioned that her mother did not provide her with emotional guidance during her upbringing, instead subjecting her to harsh treatment and demoralizing insults.
Kapa noted that despite her mother’s harsh treatment, she still loves her as she is, and she urged all mothers, both current and future, to always nurture their children’s emotions as it shapes their behavior in society.
Tumusiime is famous for her 'Gaga' looks and style paired with her funky tunes that trudge social themes and challenges with lyrical euphemism.
She is signed under TafMusic (Talent Factory Music) where she claimed fame with her Luga-flow rap song "Sikyo". Her music career started in 2018 with a song titled "Tukuba Party" and by 2020 she was allegedly valued at 93 million Ugandan shillings.
