National Unity Platform (NUP) party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was expected to attend some confrences in America this weekend but unfortunately he was barred from entering the country due to Covid-19 issues.
In a long post on his social media, Kyagulanyi explained the reasons that saw him deinied entrance to the States. "Yesterday I boarded a plane going to America passing through Qatar to attend Uganda Action Day and Convention among others. However when I reached Doha, Qatar, they found out I'd been to South Africa in a period less than 2 weeks.
There still restrictions in many countries in regards to Covid-19 unfortunately we were not informed about these restrictions even when we were setting off from Entebbe. On that note, I had to return to Uganda and I'll not be able to physically attend the convention but thanks to technology, I'll be able to attend online." Said Kyagulanyi.
He however informed the party followers that Hon. Zaake Francis Butebi, Hon. Kayemba Solo and Chairman Nyanzi would be representing since they're already in America.
