Musician Yung Mulo has been in the music industry for quite a long time already. The only issue was when he disappeared from the musical scene and many started terming him as a faded artiste.
Yung Mulo, after a very long while of musical silence returned to the music industry with a hit song which was a remix featuring Ugandan diva Sheebah Karungi. According to many people, this song bossed bosses simply because it features Sheebah Karungi who is nationally loved by her fans.
Others however stated that the song is to die for and Yung Mulo himself is a very talented musician. Well, whatever the case may be, it is no doubt that Yung Mulo and Sheebah Karungi's song Sipimika was dearly loved by music lovers and Mulo was once again embraced by the music industry.
While speaking in an interview on Galaxy TV, Yung Mulo stated the great inspiration behind his song Sipimika, stating that the song was basically about the reality of life that he has always faced as he was considered a faded musician.
He stated that he was aiming at sending a message to all his haters and critics who were thinking he was going to be silent forever that he was back and this time, he was hotter than before. Yung Mulo stated that he was dying to show his haters that he is far from finished with the music industry despite the extremely long silence.
“The song Sipimika is a story about the reality of life. I wanted to send a message to those who thought that I no longer had talent. Many people saw me go silent for a long while and they were starting to call me faded. This is something I wanted to do away with. The song came as a reminder to those haters and critics that once someone is talented, no one can take it from them.” Said Yung Mulo.
When the song Sipimika was released, it indeed turned the tables for Yung Mulo. Not only did this song become a club banger but it gave him a grand come back into the industry, so much that he was welcomed back as a legend by his fans.
When asked about his view on the money that was given to artists in the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) SACCO, Yung Mulo opinionated that whenever one pockets money given to them from the government, they are simply misusing the taxpayers’ money hence the people that pocketed that money should check themselves out and try to be more honest and transparent.
