According to the Telegraph, Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze are on Newcastle's shortlist.
Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvii, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale and Wolves' Pedro Neto are also linked with a move to Newcastle as Eddie Howe looks to overhaul his squad.
The paper had the following statement;
There has been a sense all season that this Newcastle United side is coming to the end of its shelf life, with Eddie Howe needing to move players on and find upgrades this summer to continue their progression into a consistent top-six team. Like most Premier League clubs, Newcastle have their profit and sustainability concerns and will have to sell to fund any ambitious moves in the transfer market. The likes of Wolves winger Pedro Neto, 24, and Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise, 22 and Eberechi Eze, 25, have all been discussed in recruitment meetings and fit the age profile of players Newcastle would like to sign. Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, and Valencia’s highly-rated stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been scouted extensively, but at the moment there is also a focus on moving players out.
More about Newcastle's transfers can be found on The Telegraph website.
POCHETTINO'S NEXT MOVE
According to The Sun, Mauricio Pochettino will be a target for Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
However, it is reported that Pochettino might prefer to takeover from Gareth Southgate as England manager.
The England manager's contract expires at the end of the year but the FA chiefs want him to stay for the 2026 World Cup.
Southgate has made it clear that he will make the decision about his England future at the end of the 2024 Euros.
But if Southgate decides to leave, Pochettino's past experience with English players makes him a viable candidate.
During his time at Southampton, he developed the likes of Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez into England internationals. Kyle Walker, Trippier, Dier, Deli Alli and Harry Kane all became England first team players during the Argentine's reign at Spurs.
And most recently Cole Palmer's remarkable first full Premier league season has been under the guidance of Pochettino.
MCKENNA TO BE ON HIGH DEMAND
It is believed that Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenna could soon be offered three different Premier league jobs.
Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United all seem to be in search of a new manager and could all make a move for Kieran McKenna.
Kieran McKenna led Ipswich Town to their first return to the Premier League since the 2001/02 season with a second place finish in the Championship in the 2023/24 campaign. His contract with Ipswich expires in 2026 and is unlikely to extend it as he wants to move to a bigger club.
