At 76 The Most Reverend Orthodox Archbishop of Uganda, Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga has died.
"Our spiritual Father is gone to meet the Lord," the Orthodox Church in Uganda said in a statement on Sunday.
05/09/2021 early on Sunday the church virtually held an intercessory prayer informing congregants that His Eminence Lwanga was hospitalized and had to be put in prayer.
Remembered for critiquing the NRM government back in 2019 Which prompted quick response from the Principal of government Bishop Lwanga will be remembered as very vocal against abuse of human rights. His prophetic revelation was about the dissolving of NRM because it had disturbed the nation very much.
