FDC presidential flag bearer and candidate Patrick Amuriat has been arrested in Jinja.
This has come after the electoral Commission posted on the social media accounts that no person would be allowed to campaign in Jinja.
However, FDC posted on its social media accounts and in numerous interviews that they were not officially told in writing and will therefore continue to campaign.
Members of the political party mentioned how they had not yet gone to campaign in the areas prohibited by the commission.
They furthermore mentioned the need for people in the country to see and know who to vote for.
