Today, the 29th of July 2021 marks the last day of the 42 days of total lockdown that were instituted by the president. As the norm is, the fountain of honor is always expected to come towards the end of a lockdown and either "add another 21 days" or ease the lockdpwn.
This time round, the president announced he'd address the nation on 31/st/July at 8:00pm. The nation was eagerly waiting to find out their fate but as of yesterday, new communication was released and it turns out we're having the president's address tomorrow, Friday 30th.
Well, a lot is expected to be addressed by the president tomorrow. Many Ugandans are positive he's lifting the lockdown while others remain skeptical that he will add more days. There's also another section of Ugandans ready to take to the streets in case the lockdown is extended.
