A lot of unanswered questions still loom around the sudden death of former Uganda's boxing team (bomber) captain Isaac Zebra Ssennyange a.k.a Mando. The late was murdered in cold blood at his Bwaise residence on the night of Tuesday.
Many people include his neighbours came out to give evidence about the murder and they all pointed at army officials whom they accused of killing Zebra.
While giving his end of year speech yesterday, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni expressed his sincere sorrow towards the death of Zebra and also gave his report about his death.
"When I heard of the unfortunate death of Isaac Ssennyange alias Mando Zebra Uganda's boxer and former captain of Bomber, I telephoned his wife who narrated to me the events in detail." Said the president.
The president went on to confirm that Zebra was a strong supporter of NRM and he was set to campaign for him and before his untimely death, he was meant to pay him a visit. The wife said people dressed in Police attire knocked at their door but Zebra jumped over the wall and he might have been killed by another group.
"After continued investigations, I can confirm Zebra was killed by security personnel. I am deeply sorry for his death." Said the president.
