After Swangz Avenue freshest blood baby Azawi staged a show at Lugogo Grounds back in July, it turned out a huge success and was indeed one of the best and wisest decisions that was ever made by the management camp. There was a section of fans however that was not happy with this establishment as they mentioned that Azawi was just fresh from the womb but had landed a concert yet people like Nwagi and Vinka,who have been with the label for quite a long time have not had even one concert.
The fans demanded that Vinka and Winnie Nwagi Concerts. Nwagi personally came out to say she was not in competition with anyone over anything like concerts and being priotised. She mentioned that every star had their time to shine and it was Azawi's time then so her time would come very soon.
As she had mentioned, her time did come so Netizens' prayers were partially answered when Winnie Nwagi announced her Fire Concert set for 9th September at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, which is drawing close. She was also very excited about this golden opportunity and called upon fans to turn up in large numbers. Even when her concert has not been maned by Swangz Avenue,she mentioned that they had arranged with KT promotions way before the lock down so they wouldn't go back on their word.
Swangz Avenue has been focusing on Winnie Nwagi but it seems like Vinka now feels left out and wants to join the maiden concert wagon. There is corridor talk that Vinka is currently also asking for a maiden concert of her own and she would like it to be held in December this year.
"She is making demands but the bosses seem reluctant. She wants a concert in December.” said a source
