TWITTER WAR: Patrick Kanyomozi Goes Bare Knuckles with Canary Mugume and Samson Kasumba

Reknown Sports Journalist and President of the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) has out two NBS Journalists, Canary Mugume and Samson Kasumba in their place.

This was after Kanyomozi shared a tweet questioning  Mr Anderson Burora, a Government official who has instructed the public to leave their gadgets at home after twin bombings blast in Kampala on Tuesday Morning.

"Now that we know that terrorists carry gadgets and bags, I think it will be important for you to leave your gadgets, devices and bags in the office instead of carrying them unnecessarily - Herbert Anderson Burora, RCC Rubaga."

Kanyomozi questioned the official's intelligence as to whether that was the only solution he would offer the public.

"He led by example, he left his brain at home.," Kanyomozi retweeted.

This propelled NBS TV news anchor Samson Kasumba to quickly demand that Kanyomozi withdraws his insults to Government officials even though he disagrees with them.

"It is amazing how one is happy to build a reputation on insulting people. I just can't imagine why we don't find it in ourselves to engage with those we disagree with without insulting them. Does he insult your Principal. What do our kids think when we insult other parents?"

In support of his colleague, Canary Mugume seconded Samson Kasumba.

"Mr Kasumba this is a very important point. I wonder what kids think when they see such comments. It’s sad! We should disagree respectfully," Canary Replied

Kanyomozi instead castigated both of them saying that they done with the President therefore they have no moral authority to demand respect from him.

"Bwana Canary, you were a kid when Mr M7 called past leaders 'swines', what did you think of him when you heard such comments? We should disagree respectfully."
