With the passing on of the current president of Tanzania the late John Pombe Mafuguli, the current Vice president is to take over his office.
Samia Suluhu Hassan will be sworn in and will complete the five year terms that were left by the late president Mafuguli.
Samia will be the first female Muslim president of the Republic of Tanzania.
The events of the swearing in will be announced soon.
