    Tanzania's President is not dead!
    • March 14, 2021 • 4 years ago

It has been two weeks since Tanzania saw its president H.E John Joseph Pombe Magufuli.

Rumors started flying around on the internet that he caught the corona virus, was secretly flown to Kenya and later on India for treatment.

Others kept saying he was in critical condition and some pages declared him dead within 48 hours.

There was growing pressure on the government to present the president to the people.

Official news outlets did not release anything because they did not have accurate information if the president had really passed on.

For that reason, the media in Tanzania has been appalued for its professionalism and many Ugandans have wished the Uganda media to have the same conduct.

Well, today His Excellency John Magufuli made an appearance at a local church looking quite healthy.

He says he had been doing work on how to make his country better and that is why he had not been seen around as he was in his office.

Tanzania did not lock down because they did not believe corona existed and business went on.

It is also during this period that Tanzania's economy moved from third world country to second world country.
