The most trending topic right now is the relationship between musician Eddy Kenzo and newly appointed Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Honorable Phiona Nyamutoro. The pair share a rather confusing relationship as they say one thing yet they do another thing.
Minister Nyamutoro's closeness to musician Eddy Kenzo has left very many people’s jaws dropped recently as many did not know her previously considering that she has not been too much in the lime light. Keep in mind however that before being appointed a minister, Nyamutoro was a Member of Parliament.
Netizens that love the entertainment industry but are not too deep into politics however did not know Nyamutoro until she was given the big position of Ministerial duties.
While rummaging through the past of Minister Nyamutoro, being that she is a center of interest these past few days, nowviba landed on an Interview the minister had with Galaxy TV late last year in 2023 as she spoke out about her relationship with Eddy Kenzo.
In this particular interview, Minister Nyamutoro mentioned her undying love for Ugandan Music. When asked about her favorite musicians, she mentioned that she was not particularly attached to one or a few musicians but she listened to all kinds of music so she loves a variety. This is when she also mentioned that she has very many friends in the music industry of Uganda.
“I’m a big lover of music particularly music from the Ugandan music industry. I must confess, I do listen to a lot of music. I do not have favorites, I love many songs. I barely attach myself to individuals. I listen to all types of music by the way, as long as it is a good song. I sometimes listen to artists that are even not too famous or barely famous at all. “ Honorable Phiona Nyamutoro said while speaking to Galaxy TV
Honorable Nyamutoro, then went on to admit that she has so many friends within the music industry across the country. This is during a time when she was rumored to be in a romantic relationship with Eddy Kenzo although the rumor was not as wide spread as it has been this time around.
Honorable then spoke out on her relationship with Eddy Kenzo, stating that she had known him even way before she was elected as a member of Parliament. According to her, she had no idea whether they even qualified to be called friends but she had known him for so long.
“Yes. I do know Eddy Kenzo. I cannot ascertain to say he is a friend but I do know him. I have not known him just now, Eddy Kenzo is one of those artists that I have known for years. I knew him before I was a member of Parliament,” she said.
After all these years have passed, the rumor has found it’s way back into the media as the pair has been around each other lately, causing the rumors to spark again. However much Eddy Kenzo comes out to state that she is just a friend, netizens are convinced otherwise.
