For the past week or so, the question of "Is he dead or alive?" has been on almost every Ugandan's  lips, regarding the state of the speaker of the 11th parliament, Hon. Jacob Oulanyah. Oulanyah was secretly flown out ot the country to Seatle, United States of America to get better treatment.

While the news didn't sit well with many Ugandans, who decried the mismanagent of taxpayers' money on individuals, which to them is not in order. Peaceful protests by Ugandans living in the American state  were reported, and these were alleged to have been masterminded by the National Unity Platform who came out to deny the allegations.

Earlier this week, the deputy speaker, Hon. Anite Among, accompanied by the chief justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo, minister of health Dr. Jane Ruth Acheng alongside DP party president Norbert Mao flew out of the country to check on the ailing speaker in Seatle.

Amidst rumors of Oulanyah's demise, many Ugandans had been waiting for the official communication from the team that was led by deputy speaker, Anite Among. Earlier today, she came out to say that her and the team paid the speaker a visit in Seatle.

"With the company of Dr. Jane Ruth Acheng, Chief justice Owiny Dollo and Norbert Mao, we paid the speaker of Parliament in Seatle, where he's getting treatment. He is in a better condition but still needs your prayers."Are you putting the speaker in your prayers or you're waiting for fuel prices to first go down?
