Since the lifting of the second total lockdown on 31st/7/2021, Covid-19 vaccination resumed today and people have flocked different kvaccination centres for the first and second jab.
KCCA Kisenyi health centre was one of the centres within Kampala that had people come through for vaccination. KCCA spokesperson Noah Abiine said the turn was really great and that over !5000 doses are available for vaccination.
Among the vaccinated was the chairperson of the Private Schools Founders Association, Michael Kironde, who appreciated the innitiative and called upon all teachers to go vaccinate within their respective areas of residence.
"I am here because as you all know, the education sector is still on hold for 60 days and the president said for schools to open, children and teachers must be vaccinated. I take this opportunity to call upon all the teachers to go and vaccinate in their respective areas of residence, as we prepare to resume work." Said Mr. Michael Kironde.
So, how was the situation in your area? Did people turn for vaccination or they're continuing to sanitize and wear their masks?
