Earlier today, the media was awash with photos of heavy army and police deployment at National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu's residence in Magere. This was first confirmed by Kyagulanyi himself in his Facebook post.
His supporters and other concerned parties started questioning the move, given the country is just a day to the swearing in of president elect Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. However, the UPDF has through its deputy speaker col. Deo Akiiki responded to the action.
"Honourable Kyagulanyi is a very important person in this country and for that reason, he deserves special security and that's why we've deployed soldiers at his residence." Said col. Akiiki.
This however seemed not satisfying a reason in the eyes of Kyagulanyi's supporters who were left wondering why they're providing security at this particular point in time. Over to you, what do you think is the reason behind Kyagulanyi's house seige by the army?
