VAN DIJK'S MESSAGE TO ARNE SLOT
Arne Slot is set to replace Jurgen Klopp as the new Liverpool manager for the coming season. He seems to have already gained support from some of his new players.
Virgil Van Dijk is one of those players. Despite his future at the club being uncertain, he is committed to Liverpool and has vowed to support Arne Slot next season.
Van Dijk said the following to Sky Sports;
I have full trust in the club and their decisions going forward. Obviously, change is always a bit unknown, but I've got full confidence and I'm looking forward to the new season already.
Van Dijk was also asked whether they would be able to continue Klopp's legacy, he replied with the following statement;
100%, but success is not guaranteed. That's pretty obvious. But we're going to work our socks off to make it happen. We have a good coach coming in, good backroom staff, and we have a very good team. Let's see what happens.
