In an unfortunate incident that happened yesterday at NTV Uganda, someone's job went with it.
Live porn was shown to the world on the NTV's Mix Show that airs every Friday night at 10pm just after the news. A young man on the show decided to pull out his "zubura" and started giving himself fire.
Even Daggy Nice, one of the presenters of the show, shouted "Ehh Ehh" after realising someone was showing his private parts live on his show.
From the looks of his skin-colour one could easily notice that it was a foreigner and not a Ugandan.
And by the looks of the size of the "zubra" the foreigner is suspected to be an indian by origin because according to research, Indian men have the smallest zubras in the world, about 60% of them fall 3 to 5 cms smaller than the international average.
So who was fired
In a statement released by NTV Uganda, they say the producer of the show has been suspended from the station for allowing such mature content to be displayed on a TV station that is known to have some PG (Parental Guidance) in its programming.
This means even children watch the TV station and therefore the producers of its programmes must be alert at all times to make sure there's no inappropriate content aired.
The firing came after a section of the public had started spreading the clip showing the man doing bad manners allover social media. It is from here that NTV was forced to issue an apology.
Reaction from viewers over the producer's suspension
Some members of the audience of NTV were happy with the apology from the station but were however not happy with the suspension of the show's producer and here are some of their comments;
HellenLenah @hnyamwenge21
Was it the producer or director's fault that they got suspended????? Mujooga!
Helena of Troy @nikita_helene
the suspension is unnecessary. cancel the suspension and we shall accept your apology suspending someone just to show you are "doing something" isn't necessary
displacent guy @AtumanyaElvis
It's very unnecessary to suspend staff for an action that was not their intention

Kati what necessitates the suspension of the producer of the show for something I want to believe was beyond his control The pandemic is terrorizing people and u add more salt to the injury by suspending people? We demand another apology
Marvin Mar'Sen @MarvinMarSen1
I don't think suspending anyone is worth it. No one saw this coming. Let's move on, a mistake happened and its regrettable. Continue doing what u do best. Bring back the suspended staff, they're not to blame for who joins that dance party platform
