Over time, media houses and bloggers have been reaching out to Winnie Nwagi’s father Mr. Henry Kabiito to remark on issues that concern his daughter. In most cases, it has to do with issues of her indescently or her vulgarity. This is something she has disclosed is very annoying gor her and she has therefore come out to urge media personalities to stop ambushing her father for interviews.
Nwagi mentioned that these media personalities get her father into topics that seemingly hit the singer on the nerves. She mentioned that in most cases, they involve him in conversations they should be having with her instead but she has let this slide multiple times. She however mentions that she feels like this needs to stop because it is an invasion of privacy.
Recently, her father was trapped into an interview in regards to his daughters dress code and about how she was chased from Ministry of Internal affairs simply because she was poorly dressed and it attracted a lot of attention. The gentleman was forced into an interview, having to explain his daughters faults and defending her as he mentioned that she was only dressed according to her line of work.
This earned him criticism as many mentioned that he was only defending his bad seed rather than trying to teach her where her flaws were in order for her to change.
While speaking in an interview with Sanyuka TV, Nwagi revealed that she has always advised her father to avoid interviews, especially without her consent but however much she cautions him, he is a soft man who will not stand to watch his daughter get bad mouthed so in the end he feels like he needs to get involved and try to clear her name somehow, something that she feels adds more to the trouble than helps to ease it.

Nwagi advised media personalities who are fond of storming her father’s workplace for interviews to stop it because she simply doesn’t like it. She went ahead to caution that whoever did this without her permission again would really face it rough from her because they have all been warned.
