Musician Wicliff Tugume aka Ykee Benda landed a mega deal with the Nigerian based record label known as the Empire records.
This was revealed by music critic James Propa who said the singer is heading for greatness after putting the pen on paper.
Empire record label will be majorly focusing on promotion and distribution of Ykee Benda's music but he will still be working with his ugandan manager.
"Ykee Benda recently signed with EMPIRE record label.
This is great progress for Uganda. EMPIRE is currently one of the leading record labels on the continent with artists like, Asake, Fireboy, Black Sherif and more.
We need an environment that enables such labels to have physical presence in Uganda." wrote music analyst James Propa.
Empire record label is based in Nigeria and currently manages Asake, Fireboy, Black Sherif, Ruger among others.
