* Kamala Harris' approval continues to fall drastically as compared to last year.
* Many democrats worry as this could make a difference next year in the November 2024 presidential elections
* Kamala has already been chosen by President Biden as his running mate should he win the Democrat nominations where he already faces minimal opposition.
Kamala Harris' already poor approval rating fell further during 2023 making her a possible game changer in the 2024 presidential elections. This comes after President Biden already commiting to retain Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate should he secure the 2024 Democratic nomination with only fringe Democrats stepping forward to challenge the white house incumbent. A polling website 538 released on December,5 shows a surge in the vice president's disapproval of 7.4% since the beginning of the year which is an increase by 10 points.
On the other side, her approval fell from 56.3% to 41.7% between Jan 1 and Dec 5 which sparked off an increase in her disapproval from 51.7% to 53.7% .Like wise a separate polling compilation by L.A Times published on December 12 gave Harris a net rating of 16 points with 39% of the voters having favourable view of the president while 55% viewed her unfavourably. According to this review, Harris is more considered unpopular than both Milke Pence and Dick Cheney after having not recorded a positive approval rating since June 2021.
The survey also concluded that Harris is more unpopular than president Biden who scored two points better with a net total of 14 points. Harris' unpopularity is likely to be particularly significant given widespread concern over the age of Biden, 81,who would be 86 incase he serves a second full term. There is also concern about Biden being re-elected into the white house but forced to step down due to health reasons which therefore automatically makes Harris the new president. However Harris' political death may also be greatly exaggerated as modern day vice presidents are considered unpopular especially during the first term of their administration as sighted from the career of George Bush who was dismissed as a wimp and light weighted during the era of Ronald Reagan but went ahead to win presidency right on in 1998.
