Hot news on the block has it that Comedy Store boss Alex Muhangi uses the young and flourishing comedians for their talent, exploits them and then later discards of them when they are nolonger of any use to him. This is according to the comedy duo Da Mighty Family consisting of two gentlemen, Sammy and Robby.
The duo has come out to allegedly unmask Muhangi after he scrapped them off the show simply because they chose to show their support to fast rising Politician Bobi wine and his National Unity Platform party. They say that as soon as their affiliation with NUP started, they were denied chance to perform for the audience at Comedy Store.
""Alex Muhangi is a user he has tried so much to kill our talent after using us for our content and giving us little money,” Da Mighty Family said.
According to Da Mighty family, Muhangi unfairly exploits young comedians by underpaying them yet using their content for his YouTube platform. They went ahead to also claim that having been denied chance to perform, they decided to join the audience and watch others perform but when they booked a table and paid their money, they were thrown out by police on arrival and their money was never refunded.
"Alex Muhangi stole our money worth five hundred thousand shillings 500,000shs. We went at Comedy Store like any other people to sit and watch the performances. We had booked a table in some other person’s name but when we reached Alex Muhangi called the police to push us out and he didn’t return our money. " They said.
