Angella Katatumba is from a very wealthy family and her late father, Bonny Katatumba, a former Pakistan consul in Uganda left them vast property and businesses to inherit. Angela is therefore used to having it all and she is used to the super luxurious life she has been living since her childhood so it would be very difficult for a person like her to adjust to poverty.
During a recent interview, Angela Katatumba was asked whether she cared at all about men's looks in her dating life. According to her, this was very besides the point as the main focus is money. Angela mentioned that looks could not put food on the table but money could. Admitting that money is not everything, Angela however admitted that it us very necessary.
"Looks don't buy goods, honey. You know, money is not everything, but everything needs money. So, good looks won't put food on the table. Good looks will not help me fight court cases." She said
Katatumba went ahead to mention that dating a broke man vould be very stressful as they are usually stressed off by their poverty that sometimes they could take it out on you.she mentioned that soon as the money reduces, she scatters into the opposite direction.
" Broke men are so stressful. I don't give them a chance to stress me and if for some reason I see the money reducing, I run away,” the singer said in an interview.
In 2018, the Tonelabila singer separated from her former husband, Ward Alonzo, because he reportedly lost ambition. They had met while she was performing with a live band at Ponanas’ Club on Cornmarket Street in Oxford, England in 2000. This simply means she is used to a posh lifestyle that only a small section of men can afford.
During the interview, she said she is single and she is apparently too busy to have the time to date. She mentioned she will resume dating once she is less busy and that all men that are interested in her can wait in line.
"I'm single. I'm busy, so I don't focus on men... Those who approach me also see that I'm busy and they just take a back seat until I'm less busy,” she said
