Well, it seems even our own president does not trust the vaccine that was donated to Uganda.
In his speech today, he says he does not need a vaccine because he is healthy and he is still looking at all the vaccine options before he takes one.
It should be noted that the ministry of health paid influencers to take shots of the vaccine and advertise it and furthermore distributed most of the vaccine to 44 districts.
This sort of statement coming from the president is enough to discourage many Ugandans from taking the vaccine.
"If a 75 year old refuses to take the vaccine claiming he is healthy, what makes them think a 25 year old will." One person tweeted.
H.E also added that Uganda is still making her own vaccine.
It should be remembered that the vaccine donated to Uganda was only made for African countries which is a bit worrying and left many questions.
Are we being used as tests to see if the vaccine works?
Furthermore, a video had been circulating showing that Dr. Ruth Acheng, the minister of health did not take the vaccine as the injection did not enter her body and the syringe seemed empty too.
