After the release of rhe famous song "Banange" by Lydia Jazmine and Mpaka Records boss Ykee Benda, the song hit wave so violently not only because it was a sweet melody but also because this particular song was well put together. In otherwords, this was a well anticipated vollabo as fans were waiting eagerly for the audio and visuals as well.
Upon the release of the visuals, fans went wild after watching the song because there was a part in the song where Lydia Jazmine and Ykee Benda were seen getting closer, with Lydia holding his head and it ended in a kiss. Many fans were left with doubts as to whether the two were dating.
The visuals surely sparked a dating rumor as many fans claimed that the pair had even done a private Introduction ceremony. This was after photos leaked of the two looking lovey dovey in traditional attires. It later shocked fans to learn that these were shoots for the Banange video. After seeing the Singers' lips touching in the video, many made it a point of emphasis.
Lydia Jazmine came out recently to deny all these rumors. After having kept silence upon this, it has become too much for her to handle hence coming out about it. She denied having wet kissed Ykee and said it is only their lips that touched.
" I never wet kissed Ykee Benda. Even a blind person can see it that our lips only touched. This was a music video that had to appear real. My lips did not open and our tongues did not meet. In other words, there was no saliva exchange." She defended herself.
Ykee Benda himself also last year had confirmed that there are no strings attached what so ever to Lydia Jazmine and indicated that the two are just good business partners.
