2026 ELECTIONS: Balaam and MP Kabanda turn Guns against Vice President Jesica Alupo
    • January 14, 2023 • 2 years ago

As the road to the 2026 General elections takes shape, divisions within the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) seem to even be getting worse.

Latest development show how Muhoozi Kainerugaba's blue eyed boys, events Promoter Balaam Barugahara and Kasambya County MP Daudi Kabanda have cautioned Vice President Jesica Alupo over Museveni's 2026 bid.

    The Genesis.

Earlier this week, the Vice President Alupo while speaking at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwazi said that President Museveni had confided in her that he will be running again for Presidency in 2026.

The announcement seemed to bear relief for the majority of the attendees of the event, NRM supporters who are bothered by the ongoing confusion of the Presidents stand in 2026, given the fact that his son Muhoozi showed interest in the same position.

    Balaam and Kabanda's Rant.

According to Kabanda and Balaam, Alupo is a perennial liar who puts words of her boss without any remorse.

To further prove Alupo's lies, Kabanda cited a scenario when Alupo lied. He reminisces a 2021 scenario when Alupo claimed that Museveni had informed her that the NRM CEC would settle for Rebecca Kadaga in the speakership race with Jacob Oulanya. However, Oulanya was chosen over Kadaga!

In addition, Balaam says that Museveni is known for keeping his secrets to himself and therefore asks Alupo to stay away from spreading confusion.

He also reminded her that her plot of trying to break their Revolution - The Muhoozi revolution is a day dream unattainable.
