Musician A Pass is one person that never fails to appreciate talent as soon as he sees it. This time around, his appreciation post is for none other than Fast rising stat Joshua Baraka. According to A pass, Joshua Baraka’s unique music style made Ugandans proud through 2023 and he deserves the support he is receiving, even more.
Not only is Baraka massively talented when it comes to music but he is also down to earth and humble. Whereas 2023 was not the first time he appeared on the music scene, it is still considered will his breakthrough year as his club banger dubbed Nana dominated the music charts not only in Uganda but internationally as well.
A Pass further went on to ask Ugandan music consumers to support talented artists who have an international vibe to their music just like Baraka as it offers a bright future for the local industry since it is a chance for Uganda to go international.
“Last year Joshua Baraka did Uganda so proud with his sound & freshness. I pray for the same this year, no pressure just do what you love champ and for the fans please support the talented artists who have that international sound because that’s how we shall move forward musically.” Said Apass.
He further stated that Ugandans always complain about the music industry not going forward yet they never support the industry enough to make it go International, something that should come to an end.
“We keep complaining about how Uganda is not going international but we don’t give support to the young ones who have the international sauce. We frustrate them until they quit. “ he said.
